Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Sealy is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $500 US, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is fully vetted.**
Sealy was pulled from the local kill shelter along with her 7 puppies that she gave birth to there. This family was saved because we had an amazing foster step up to care for them. But now it is time for Sealy to find a family of her very own!
Sealy is about 3 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. We believe she is a Labrador Retriever / American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. She is great with other dogs and has been to dog parks and loves it. She plays fetch, knows sit, does well on a leash and is house/crate trained. She is very affectionate and playful. She would love to be a lap dog, loves to play with toys and pounce around like a puppy. She has a bed in her crate and does perfect on it with no destruction to it whatsoever.
Sealy is heartworm positive. Heartworms are very common in the strays found in the Houston area because they are transmitted by mosquitos, which are also very common. Unfortunately, Sealy has heartworms, but has started her treatment to be cured of them within the year and her medications are included in her adoption.
**Sealy is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. Her adoption fee is $500 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and her travel crate.
