Jessie's Story...
My name is Jessie and I am a very friendly and energetic puppy who LOVES to snuggle with people and dogs. I love to play with and carry my toys. I am currently being fostered in Baltimore City by a dog trainer and live with her two dogs, so I am getting plenty of socialization with dogs and meeting people plus working on basic skills like potty training, crate training, leash walking, basic manners and obedience. If I get adopted before the age of 18 weeks ( I am now 13/14 weeks), Doghouse Girls will offer a free Puppy Preschool to my adopters. Please contact adoptpitties@gmail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Baltimore Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
