OLIVER NEEDS A FOSTER FOR A SHORT TIME UNTIL ADOPTED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING OLIVER, PLEASE EMAIL adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Oliver is a male Maltese/Papillon mix approximately 2 years old. He is a tiny, adorable ball of fluff weighing a mere 10 pounds full grown. Oliver has a gorgeous creamy coat and as you can tell from his pictures, his ears are magnificent. Oliver is a head turner and one of a kind, no question about it. Fortunately, Oliver also has an outstanding personality to match his good looks. He is perky, attentive, smart, and interactive with people. He will happily come bouncing over if you call him and is eager to please. Oliver is great with everyone, social and outgoing. He attracts attention wherever he goes and is happy to oblige with little kisses and a friendly wag of the tail. Oliver is a pampered pooch and will thrive in a home where he is handled with gentle care and treated like a king. He was meant to be a companion dog and will fit in seamlessly with your household. Oliver has great indoor manners and simply likes to be wherever the people are. He will romp around in the backyard for fun and seems to have a very merry disposition overall. Inside, Oliver is content to snuggle in your lap or entertain himself nearby in a doggie bed. He walks on leash easily and rides well in the car. Oliver is good with children (they need to be gentle since he is tiny) and he is good with other dogs. We haven't seen him play a whole lot as he seems to prefer being adored and fussed over. He has a naturally curious personality and likes to investigate new things. Oliver was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is very healthy and ready for his new forever loving home today!

Oliver’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OLIVER, a Newport Beach Maltese/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Papillon for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Maltese/Papillon dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Papillon breeders who help with Maltese/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
