Houston, TX area:  My name is Joey. I am a gorgeous orange tabby. I was rescued near a boarding kennel and spent several months there until going into foster care. I am about seven months old and have been fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and combo tested (negative). Like most cats, I am a little shy at first but I warm up quickly. I enjoy playing on my cat tree and with my cat nip toys. However, my favorite thing to do is to lay on the couch with my foster family and get my belly rubbed. This is what my foster mom has to say about me: “We absolutely love fostering Joey. He has a sweet and playful nature. He has very good house manners—always uses his litter box and scratches only on his scratching post, never on the furniture. We are currently fostering him with his BFF, Tabitha, another beautiful orange tabby. If adopted together, the adoption fee is the same as for one.” Message or Email: forgottenpetadvocates@yahoo.com to meet this handsome boy!

About The Forgotten Pet Advocates

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an organization that supports animal welfare. We are the voice to those animals that have no one to advocate for them.

These animals have been abandoned in boarding facilities, in Houston and surrounding areas.

"Kennel life is NO LIFE for any animal, it is lonely and heart breaking.
Sleeping alone each night hearing amplified barks of other dogs.
Having to go potty, but no one hears your cries.
The pain of being in there another night, and another and another.
Cats meowing in their cages, wanting to stretch out.
Seeing animals come and go and no one ever comes for you.
Wondering how did I end up here and how do I get out!
We are their voice now and we will not stop until they all have homes and families of their own".
