Josie's Story...
Josie is a beautiful, calm, female Great Pyrenees mix. She needs a home where she will be a family pet (not a stock dog), with a sturdy, large, fenced area (minimum 4 ft tall) for outside time, or a commitment to leash-walking, as GP are notorious for wandering. She cannot be off leash unless in a secured fenced in area. She must be in a home with no other female dogs, because GP's are territorial. Children must be at least seven years old due to the giant breed. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, heart worm negative, and weighs about 90-95 lbs. Adoption fee $120.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Pulaski Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
