My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie Brown and his brothers Linus and Pigpen came to the shelter in late September, a bit apprehensive about our human intentions, but willing to give us a try. All three boys have already learned that cuddling with humans is highly desirable, and really love to be snuggled in a pair of warm arms, hugged closely and kissed. Charlie in particular has become so fond of his humans that he cries out to us for love. He is progressing wonderfully with his social skills, exploring the cat room, climbing the kitty stairs so he can sit on the windowsill, and frequently approaching us from the top of the cages so he can sneak a kiss from us.

He doesn't seem to mind the shelter dogs he sees, and gets along well with the other cats, and would probably make a wonderful companion for a child. Like most older kittens who are just starting to learn how nice life among people can be, Charlie will need some love and patience as he adjusts in a new home.

Charlie Brown is about 7 months old, is box-trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Adoption fee is $50 (cash or check only, please). For more information on Charlie, or an adoption application, email ClayvilleCritters@cox.net, call the shelter at (401) 647-7200, or visit the shelter during regular hours: Tue, Wed, Fri 7 to 11 a.m., Thursday 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
