I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gracie (ETAA)'s Story...
This precious angel was found at a gas station with her litter mate. She had been hit by a car and left in the grass. Thankfully her litter mate stayed by her side until help arrived. Miraculously she only has a slight pelvic fracture so she will have a complete recovery. She is a gorgeous beagle-mix. She is sweet and loves children, walks well in a leash, gets along with other dogs and ignores cats. Potty-trained with a doggy door. Very petite at about 25 lbs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie (ETAA), a Harrisonburg Beagle/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Boxer for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Beagle/Boxer dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Boxer breeders who help with Beagle/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
