After years of being a loyal pet, sweet Margie Sue was surrendered to an over-crowded county shelter where she was just terrified. She's since been rescued and is doing great. She literally sang with excitement all the way from the shelter to her safe place. (see video)
Margie Sue loves to sunbathe and stroll around the yard in the warm morning sun. She likes to sleep covered up and knows how to cover herself up if you're too tired to tuck her in. All and all is just a sweet mature lady who would make a wonderful companion to someone who is looking for a loving sidekick.
Margie Sue is currently on a diet as she is pretty overweight for her frame. She was 45 lbs when surrendered to the shelter, but we're hoping to get her into the 35 lb range. A nice walking partner could sure help her along.
Weight:45 should be 35
Temperament: Gets along with dogs, older kids, can be cat tested upon request
Training: she is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained
Vetting: she is spayed and up to date on vaccines, she is heartworm negative
