Important Note

Artemis is best friends with Athena. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
My name is Artemis, and I am a Turkish Van/ white with orange DSH mix who was born in October 2015. Because I'm mostly white with splashes of orange on my ears, back, and tail, I am considered a Turkish Van mix. In fact, the smallest dot on my back is supposed to be the thumbprint of God! Oh, and my big green eyes are very mesmerizing.
I am a sweet girl who ended up at a shelter with my sister Athena because we were found as strays as very small kittens. Luckily Buster's Friends saved us just in the nick of time. Yikes! I don't even like to think about what happens to kitties at kill shelters when they have outstayed their time limit.
I am an angel-faced, very laid-back kitty who doesn't need much -- just give me food, water, and lots of love. Oh, and maybe a toy and treat every so often as well. I get along with cats as well as dogs, and I just love people! Don't you want a perfect kitty? Think about me because I can make your family complete.
Since I am bonded to my sister Athena and since we really do love each other, think of adopting both of us if you want a sweet duo! Two are better than one, you know, but we can be adopted together or separately. Anyway, we are the best girls you could find.
Artemis is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Artemis, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml.
First save and then open it; then you can print it and fill it out.

About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
