Rio's Story...
Helloooo there! My name is Rio and I'm a 3 year old mohave bob mix (Highland Lynx x Ocicat x Selkirk all mixed in one!) I have a gorgeous fur coat color! They call it a silver chocolate spotted and my fur is super curly! Its so soft and funny!

I have one of the best personalities! I love to follow you around, talk about my day, and be around people 24/7! I'm intelligent and curious about everything going on. I do great with other cats and dogs too! I also LOVE to play with toys so I'm hoping for a home that will give me some fun things to play with. I'm social with new people as well!

I'm neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on my vaccines. I'm available to southern california residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rio, a Los Angeles Ocicat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ocicat for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Ocicat cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ocicat breeders who help with Ocicat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
