Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy, a darling four year old tiny chihuahua who is looking for her new fur-ever family. This precious girl came to HSNT after her previous owners got a divorce, and neither party could take Daisy with them to their new homes. When Daisy came to us, she quickly got sick, so an employee stepped up to foster her until she was well. She is now feeling much better and is ready for her new leash on life. Daisy is a very quiet girl, who enjoys snuggling most in life. She adores being under the covers as her favorite human watches TV and loves cuddling in bed when its time to go to sleep at night. She is great with other dogs (both large and small) and is good with cats. She enjoys going out on short walks around the neighborhood, and likes going to the petstore for a visit. She rides well in the car, and usually just curls up and takes a nap as you drive. She is doing well with her potty training, and quickly goes outside when you take her out, but she will not tell you when she needs to go, and she does have accidents. Her new owner will need to be ready to work with her. She did have some dental work while in our care, and will probably need more in the future. She was not bred well, and might also have some health issues later in life that could need attention. Daisy has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, and is microchipped. Stop by to visit with this darling girl today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Benbrook Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
