Miss Peach, aka Princess Pound Cake is available at our shelter partner Petsmart located at the corner of VB Blvd and S. Plaza Trail in the HH Gregg shopping center.

There are situations that are sad and there are situations that just break my heart.  Poor Miss Peach, aka Princess Pound Cake, was adopted years ago through our Petsmart partner then loved on to the point of obesity.  A poor diet will do that to a girl.  Sadly, her person could no longer care for her and felt no option but to turn her in to us.  This poor girl needs a heavy duty dose of tough love and some TLC to get her girth back under control.

Miss Peach was adopted shortly before Christmas but returned, again through no fault of her own.  Her new family 'could not keep her on a schedule'.  They report that she is very personable and loving, friendly and talkative.  She loves to be held and petted.  We have found the best way to her heart was not through her tummy, it was with a nice brushing!  She is so happy to get brushed she almost brushes herself!  Just hold that brush and she will rub all over it.

Miss Peach loves belly rubs and attention.  Miss Peach is so hefty she cannot reach her nether regions very well to give herself a good grooming so it is up to her humans to do that for her until she is back down to a normal weight.  Thankfully, brushing seems to be the key to her heart.

Please come meet the pretty, portly, calico girl with the kissable black nose. Miss Peach is a senior and she really needs a special person that understands that unlimited food and treats are not the wisest nutritional choice.  Someone that will show her unconditional love, some good brushings and some play time and best yet, some companionship and understanding.

Miss Peach is already spayed, up to date on all her shots, microchipped and can come home with you today (closed Tuesdays).  Come meet this girl at our shelter partner Petsmart.  Seniors are free to seniors on Wednesdays.  #1610-1791
