Facts about Dusty

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: AG
  • Hair: Short
My name is Dusty, and I am a sweet, loving patched tabby DSH girl who was born in February 2013. Some people say that I am a torbie, but I look like a brown tabby who got splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I was adopted 3 years ago as a small kitten, but then my family surrendered me back to Buster's Friends. I can't imagine how they could give up a sweet girl like me if they didn't have financial reverses, a divorce, or an overseas move. Ah well, I can't cry over spilt milk.
I get along with all the other cats and dogs in my foster home, and I love people. So I would fit into a lot of family situations. I can be a little shy at first in new situations, but just give me a little time to settle in and adjust, and I will be your best friend.
This time I deserve a loving forever family who will keep me safe and give me a real lifetime home! Please come and meet me to see if I would fit into your family.
Dusty is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Dusty, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.

About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
