Lucy-10 WEEKS's Story...
Hi, I am your typical kitten .. playful, and active and FUN .. and lookiing for your lap when I'm done. Cute and cuddly too! Hi, I'm LUCY. I'm good with a dog who will ignore me, and a gentle, well-behaved kid 8+. I would love to have a playful young kitty friend in my fur-ever home. In fact, kittens my age do best with another kitten or young cat to grow up with.

** LUCY is estimated to be 9-10 weeks. Her adoption fee is $165. Come see her at the Naperville PETCO (348 S. Rt. 59, near Arby's) -- starting Saturday, 10/15! WALK-IN ADOPTION HOURS at that location are 1-4:00 on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS -- NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy-10 WEEKS, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
