Sonic's Story...
Meet one of the 4 Fast Food puppies. These babies were born outside and trapped and taken to animal control along with their nearly feral mother. Mama and babies (3 boys and 1 girl) were rescued from the shelter at one week old. The puppies weighed from 1.02 to 2.05 lbs.

We really do not know the breed mix of these puppies. Mom appears to be a small Dutch Shepherd. She has a beautiful dark brindle coat, and pointed nose and ears. The puppies are too small to guess what they might be mixed with. They have just opened their eyes and are starting to get acquainted with the world. They will be 8 weeks old and ready for adoption in mid-November. We are accepting applications now.

If you are interested in giving this sweet baby a home, please visit our website http://jojosdoghouse.com and download an application or email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you one. Adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations and parasite-free. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonic, a Gallatin Dutch Shepherd/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Boxer for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Boxer breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
