Meadow's Story...
Hi! I am Meadow. I am a sweetheart that plays well with all dogs. Not sure about cats as I haven't met them, but I don't think there would be an issue. I am a little shy around new people right at first but I warm up quickly. I am doing well in a crate, but will bark when I need to get out of my crate. I am working on potty training but since I am a younger puppy, I can't wait for very long before I need an opportunity to go outside. I will get better as I get older though. I like to play with toys, but my preference is to play with other dogs. When the other dogs are asleep, I tend to snooze with my person or chew on a nylabone. I like playing with tennis balls as well. I am a happy go lucky pup that is ready for a home of my own. If you are ready to adopt me, please email info@habitat4paws.org for more information.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meadow, a McKinney Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
