Sugar's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sugar's Story...
While she loves her foster mom and foster sister, Sugar has a sweet tooth for her forever home! She is 6 years old and enjoys going on long walks and snuggling close at night. Sugar shares her foster home with another female dog and would do just fine in a home with other pets, but is also happy to absorb all the attention in an only dog home. In fact, this girl is pretty versatile and would do well in a variety of homes. If you are looking for a dog that is past her chewing and destroying phase Sugar is your girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Fort Wayne Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Wayne, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
