Spark was rescued from St. John the Baptist Parish Animal Shelter in August. He is a big orange and white bunny rabbit, and we are unsure of his exact breed. He has since been examined by our exotic vet, spayed, had AHS tattooed in his ear, and her nails trimmed. He is now available for adoption through Acadiana Humane Society.
Rabbits are a ten year commitment, and should be researched before choosing to adopt one. We do require an indoor home for all rabbits. FOOD: Rabbit Pellets, Timothy Hay, and fresh green leafy vegetables such as kale, romaine or butter lettuce, arugula, parsley, etc. Fresh fruits and berries make a great occasional treat. We recommend an indoor home for rabbits. NO wire bottom cages as they cause foot injury which requires a veterinarian's care. Plastic solid bottom cages only. Our rabbit adoption fee is $50.00. We accept cash, or a check made out to Acadiana Humane Society. If it doesn’t work out, we ask that you please return rabbit to Acadiana Humane Society. Thank you!
