Theo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Theo's Story...
Theo is a 7 yr old male/neutered Bichon Frise. He is a sweet boy, loves everyone and other dogs. He loves to be on his human's lap or close by as much as possible. Theo loves to go for walks or hang out outside. He does suffer from some separation anxiety but is doing better in his foster home. Theo is housetrained and will ask to go outside BUT, he does mark in the house. THis is considered a behavioiural problem and the foster home is working on it. It would help if Theo was the only dog in the house. Due to periodontal disease a few years back, Theo had most of his teeth removed leaving him with only his 4 canines but Theo has no problems eating anything. Theo is a great little guy that has tons of love and affection to give.

Theo is neutered, up to date on vaccines and Heartworm medication. Adoption fee is $350
To apply for Theo go to www.happytailsrescue.ca/adoption-form to submit an application.

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theo, a Mississauga Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Mississauga, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Mississauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mississauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mississauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mississauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
