Felix was picked up in Farmington by another rescue that was not equipped to help him with his health issues. Upon arrival to us, he had a severe upper respiratory infection, eye infections, an ear polyp, and was dangerously underweight. After his infections cleared, it was discovered that Felix has chronic inflammation in his eyes as well as severe arthritis in his back hips and legs and moderate arthritis in his front legs. Felix will require medication for the rest of his life for his eyes and arthritis.
Felix is SUPER snuggly. He will need to be in a home that is prepared to offer snuggles whenever he demands. He also has quite an endearing meow. Felix is a fan of junk food so the pricier the food, the less likely he will be to eat it. He currently eats canned Frisky's food and dry meow mix.
Felix would do best in a home that he could be the only kitty or with another laid back kitty. He is looking to live his days out in a quiet house where he can find a nice spot on the bed to sleep. He will also need someone who is willing to snuggle with him all night.
