April is currently available for adoption! She is a little sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, sit on your lap and be snuggled with blankets. She is kennel trained and house trained. She is currently living with her foster brother a 70 lb lab,  a foster chihuahua sister, and a human 8 year old. April will make the perfect addition to one lucky family. April needs funds to pay her vet bills from an injury sustained prior to her being picked up by Animal Control and rescued by SOCA-FBC. If you would like to donate, please go to the SOCA-FBC home page (www.soca-fbc.org), click Donate Now. April has fully recovered from having a leg amputated, but that doesn't stop her from running, jumping, and standing on her back two legs. She gets very excited when its time to eat, and when her humans get back home.

About Saving Our Companion Animals - Fort Bend County

About Our Rescue Group...

SOCA - FBC is a non-profit, 501c3 organization run solely by volunteers. SOCA - FBC works with local veterinarians to provide medical care for sick/injured animals at Fort Bend County Animal Services (FBCAS) that are not taken in by local rescue groups. SOCA - FBC gathers donations to provide supplies and medicine for the animals at FBCAS. SOCA - FBC also manages the foster program at FBCAS, holds adoption events and fundraisers, and transports animals to out-of-state rescues for adoption. Whether it is by locating the owners, adopting, fostering, or obtaining a rescue, SOCA - FBC and FBCAS do everything possible to find FURever homes, for all of them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our Pets are in Foster homes. You can meet them by scheduling an appointment or join us for one of our many meet and greet events including Petco at 5574 West Grand Parkway S. Richmond, Texas 77406.

Our Adoption Process...
