found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
This distinguished, large (171 lbs) 7 yr old Mastiff lost his home when his owner died. Herc was lucky enough to land with a nice family but it was determined that he would be better in a home without cats or small dogs. Hercules never hurt the cat in the home but was very aggressive in chasing the feline and made his owner's wife nervous. Although he can definitely hold down a couch, his energy level is one of a younger dog that enjoys a nice evening walk after dinner every day.
Hercules is absolutely wonderful with the kids in the family, including the one year old toddler. He loves attention from his people and will follow them from room to room, looking for love and snuggles. He is huge fan of baths and particularly loves the towel drying part!
Hercules is truly a prime specimen of a Mastiff and deserves to live the rest of his life holding down a couch and surrounded by love. If you'd like to find out how to make Hercules your own, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
