Meet Smiley! Smiley is an adorable 8 lb, 7 year old miniature poodle. Smiley is definitely a medium-energy dog, she loves walks, but also loves to chill with people, she REALLY likes being around people. Her ideal home is going to be one where they want to be with her often. She is very good at being in bags (so she can be carried anywhere), and she is housebroken with a very strong bladder. She is very curious, but never strays too far from you. She is great with dogs of different sizes- but would prefer to be the only dog of the house. She loves meeting new people and getting lots of attention. She has been complimented many times on her funny ears, they have a life of their own.
*Smiley had severe dental tartar build up and had a major cleaning with multiple extractions. She also had a epithelial cell mass removal and biopsy, which turned out to be a benign growth and is fully removed & not likely to return. She has moderate cataracts so would do best in a home with not a a lot of stairs. Smiley has a clear bill of health and is now ready to find her FURever family to give and receive lots of love!
Smiley is spayed and microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.
We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.
All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.
Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
