Meet our newest Rottie - Nina!! While she may not look her best just yet, this sweetheart is going to blossom into a stunning young lady once we get her fixed up! She will need to have surgery to fix her eye. We aren't sure what caused the scarring down her back, but it could not be good - chemical or other burn. She also needs some serious groceries to put on some much needed weight.

The sweet girl wants nothing more than to curl up in y our lap and be loved on. She also has some basic training as she will sits when she approaches and is very eager to please and listen. She seems like a super happy girl and very friendly.

She's a young girl, maybe a year or so.

Contact us asap at if you can help this girl by fostering her. If you can't foster but want to help her out, you can also contribute to her vet bills and other cost by donating at

About Scout's Honor Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Scout’s Honor Rescue is an all-breed, no-kill, Not-For-Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization committed to bringing Courage, Character and Compassion to Houston’s homeless pet population and making a positive difference in the lives of these stray and abandoned animals and the Houston community as a whole. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to saving the life of a homeless animal.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.

Our Adoption Process...

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.
