Audrey is a supersweet, lovable, and cuddly little girl looking for her forever family. Not much is known about her history, except that she was found looking for something to eat in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in an urban area of Gallup, NM, near the Navajo reservation lands where most of Rez Dawg Rescue's adoptable animals come from. Audrey is now in a foster home in Longmont, CO (about an hour north of Denver). She is full-grown at 39 lbs and estimated to be one and half to two years old. Audrey is healthy, happy, and one of RezDawg Rescue's "Home for the Holidays" featured pets with a special $150 adoption fee!
Audrey has a beautiful reddish-brown coat—very short hair, virtually no shedding!—with patches of white fur on her nose, on her chest, and on three of her paws. She is housetrained, crate trained (she often goes into her crate to sleep and relax during the day without prompting), and her foster people are working on training her to sit and make eye contact before getting loving or food treats. She is a big fan of hanging out on the sofa with you while you watch TV or read. Audrey walks nicely on a leash without pulling and is getting along fine with the four other dogs at her foster home (all medium to larger dogs).
Here are a few videos of Audrey, playing with one of her foster friends; happily chewing on a a squeaky toy (and retrieving it); and upsidedown, getting her chest and neck scratched:
Audrey was spayed and microchipped on October 24th and is ready to go home with her new people. Would you like to meet this friendly, happy girl and possibly be her forever family? If so, please submit an application today!
RezDawg's adoption fees cover rescue and transportation costs, spay/neuter, microchip, deworming and vaccinations to bring the animals up-to-date at their time of adoption. You save a bundle of money by adopting from a non-profit—and even more importantly, you allow RezDawg to save another animal from being euthanized. ALL funds are used to save and support the animals!
