Sasha's Story...
Name: Sasha
Breed: Aussie/Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female

Sasha is a young Shepherd/Aussie with a passion for play, kids, and other dogs. She is in her element loving on the kids, playing with the other dogs, and then relaxing on the couch near her family. She is a smart, social, sweet girl who came to us when her time was up at a high kill impound. She is housetrained on a schedule though expect accidents as she transitions, crates for the workday well, and minds her manners in the house as well as any young dog can. Sasha would love a home with some kids or another dog to play with or an active person who wants to bring her with on all their adventures. She is up for anything!

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Minneapolis Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
