If you are looking for a great family dog, Lesta is the one! He is a very sweet, friendly, happy, and well-behaved boy! Lesta loves everyone he meets and is very safe and gentle with young children as he is now in a foster home with young children. He is now living with many dogs in his foster home and gets along well with big and small dogs. Lesta is a very good temperament boy and will do well in any loving home. Lesta is house-trained and crate-trained. He is good on leash and enjoys his daily walks and trips to the doggie parks.
Lesta is one of 500+ dogs living in a no-kill shelter. The shelter is overcrowded and is understaffed. The owner of the no-kill shelter is a very kind older lady. She rescued many dogs but the shelter is very remote and so making adoption very hard for her. She loves all the dogs with her heart and wishes that her dogs have a chance to live in loving homes instead of suffering with her. She called Lesta’s now foster mom for help and begged her to take a few dogs in. Lesta’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer and a long term supporter of her shelter. She had taken over 300 dogs from this shelter and found all of them loving homes abroad. Her home is full of rescued dogs but she did not have the heart to turn her back on them. She went to the shelter and rescued 4 dogs that day. Lesta and 3 of his buddies were brought back to her home filled with love and proper care. Lesta loves the company of all her rescued dogs and enjoy a structure life where they are trained to have good manners. They started some basic obedience training, go to doggie parks and wait patiently in the car when the foster mom has to run errands. Lesta will make a great family dog as he is so loving.
Lesta had a complete health checkup. He is healthy and got all the necessary vaccinations and blood tests. He is ready for his own loving home.
