Facts about Booch

  • Breed: American Bulldog/Basset Hound Mix
  • Color: Brindle - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Booch was returned to us after many months in his home when his owner got very ill. Poor Booch is very sad and once again looking for his forever family. He is on the calmer side, and those sad eyes just tug at your heart strings. He is friendly with everyone he meets, and seems ok with other dogs his size. Booch can be a little stubborn but listens well for the most part. He is good-natured and easygoing. He will need mild daily exercise. He loves to take long walks and walks pretty good on his leash. Booch does like to follow his nose while walking, he does lots of exploring. If you have a laid back family and are looking for a good companion dog, stop in and meet Booch. He is very deserving of his own family to love!

About The Voorhees Animal Orphanage

About Our Shelter...

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.
