Hi, I'm Juneau and I am a "Break Dancer"! I'm looking for an active owner who can give me the exercise (and attention!) I need. Is that you? I can be a little shy at first, so I am looking for a home that is willing to go slow and help me adjust. I LOVE peanut butter so if you bring the PB I'll bring the snuggles. I've already mastered sit but training classes with my new people would be a great confidence builder for me as well as a great way for us to bond. If all that sounds good to you please come visit me at the Maryland SPCA- I'll be waiting to hear from you! Primary Color: Gold Secondary Color: White Weight: 47 Age: 2yrs 2mths 0wks
The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
