Lottie's Story...
Hello! My name is Lottie. I am a naturally gorgeous girl, who looks and acts like an angel. I was a petite young mother. Gratefully all my kittens were adopted. Now it is my turn to find a loving home. I am proud of my shiny tortie coat and my big golden paws. I love human attention, especially playing with wand and laser toys. I am very easy going and get along with my feline roommates. I did test FIV positive, but please do not stop reading. We are some of the sweetest cats at the shelter. We do not need any medication, nor a special diet. We live good quality long lives. Ideally I would like a home with another FIV positive cat or as an only cat. Given my mellow pleasant personality, I would likely be fine with cat friendly dog. Please stop by to meet me - Lottie,
the fun loving and gentle beauty with big golden paws.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lottie, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
