Tink - Adopted!'s Story...
Tink is a five month old female pittie mix puppy that was born on 6/19/16 in Mississippi. This super sweet and adorable girl currently weighs about 35lbs. Tink has been well socialized with children, dogs, cats, chickens, goats and horses. She loves playing with the children and dogs at her foster home. Tink is crate trained, housebroken and learning basic obedience! She loves to be with her people/pack and is very affectionate.

On 9/3 Tink came to New England with her littermates who have all been adopted. Shortly after Tink arrived, she started having seizures. Tink’s seizures are now being well controlled with the medication Phenobarbital. She had a comprehensive workup done by the vet and was diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy. Tink will be able to live a happy and healthy life with idiopathic epilepsy. She will need to take medication for seizures for the rest of her life and because she is on medication long term, she’ll need to have annual blood work. She will also need to have her medication adjusted as she grows which will require additional blood work to check her Phenobarbital levels. The Phenobarbital costs approximately $15.00 for a month supply and blood work will cost approximately $150-$200 per year.

Tink has been seizure free since starting her medication on 9/14/16! She is a happy puppy that is thriving and loving life! We are now accepting applications for Tink. Please consider the financial commitment to Tink’s care as this will be lifelong. We assure you, if you adopt this very special little girl, she will melt your heart!

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please submit an application by emailing We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then schedule a home visit. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $400.00 for adults and $450.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering if older than five months of age, up-to-date age appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs temperaments in order to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined and vetted before traveling to New England! For more info please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tink - Adopted!, a Croydon Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Croydon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Croydon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Croydon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Croydon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Croydon paves the way for another one to be saved.
