My story

Adoption Pending!!!

"Jake" is a 1 year old Shiba Inu (and possibly Jack Russell) mix (as you can tell from prick ears, squinty eyes, and curly tail!)

He was rescued from a southern IL animal control facility. He's a WONDERFUL and SUPER-LOVING dog! He's only 28 pounds (see the photo in relation of a mini-poodle), and loves, loves to be held! He is working on "sitting" and "shaking" in his foster home and is being crate-trained.

He does well with other dogs. He does jump a bit, so we recommend a home in which there is a fenced in yard and children who are 10 years old and up.

He will be ready for adoption towards the end of October!
