LA Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We are a small grassroots rescue that runs soley on donations and volunteers. We do not receive government grants or funds. There are no employees. Every person helping at the rescue is a volunteer. So every penny donated goes to the animals.
We are a no kill animal rescue. We are committed to the animals in our care and they are safe with us until the perfect home comes along. We are not breed or species specific. Visit LAAR.ORG or LAAnimalRescue.org to learn more about us.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We do mobile adoption events at least 2 - 4 times a month. Please see our upcoming scheduled events at LAAR.ORG. If there is a specific animal you'd like to meet, please let us know so that we bring him/her.
If you cannot attend our adoption events, fill out an application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page. Depending on your location and schedule, we may be able to set up a meet and greet.
Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website, LAAR.ORG. Go to the page titled "Adoption Process" for the application.
Our adoption process includes an application, home check, adoption contract and adoption fee.
We do not "sell" animals. We re-home animals and we ask for a donation to be made to our organization to help cover some of the costs we incur when we take on an animal. Quite often the animals are not in the best of health so they are immediately taken to the vet and given whatever medical attention is necessary. *The adoption fee for dogs is $300-500 and for cats/kittens is $175.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to LA Animal Rescue.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
