Alana is a cute, playful, and friendly puppy! She is sociable and friendly with all ages of people. She gets along with other dogs as well as cats.

Alana is a sweet puppy girl with a pair of cute looking ears. She is playful, cuddly, and full of puppy energy. Her lively, cheerful, and friendly personality is loved by everyone who meets her. With some basic training, Alana will grow up to be a wonderful companion for any type of family.

Alana's story:
Alana and her brother Aherm were adopted as puppies by a senior couple to keep them company. The four of them had some good time together. The couple did their best to give the two puppies plenty of exercises every day. They would take walks with them, or run them in the dog park and meet doggie friends. But not for long, the husband started to have difficulty walking and was diagnosed of lumbar disc herniation. Besides, taking care of two growing and active puppies proved more than the wife alone can handle. To find new homes for the two puppies becomes their last resort.

Alana is a very healthy and happy puppy girl. All she needs is a home to love and care for her, and enjoy her companionship. Will you let Alana become a member of your family? Alana is patiently waiting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alana, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
