OCT 14, 2016:
Haven is a DSH brown/black/white tabby about 2 years old. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations, pine pellet litter trained, playful and a good eater.
Haven was a stray in our Nellysford neighborhood. She was very friendly and would visit each house. A good Samaritan took her in at Thanksgiving and she adapted quickly to their spaniel and visiting foster kittens. Their other female cat had never accepted Haven however, and there was stalking and conflict. Their adult male cat simply stayed out of the fray.
Haven is affectionate but is not a lap cat. She is playful and loves anything on a string and catnip. She needs to have her food rationed because once she stopped hunting for her own food outdoors she became a chubby napper! Haven deserves a peaceful home where she can explore freely and not worry about aggressive disgruntled housemates. She loves to snuggle up close and purrs like a champ.
