Oreo is a gentle seven year old Chihuahua/ Papillon mix. She is a sweet, petite little lady, only 4.5 lbs. Oreo is a bit shy and needs a while to warm up to people but then she is really loving. Oreo would do good as an only dog or as a companion for an other mellow dog. She doesn't bark and is good with other dogs but because of her tiny size we wouldn't recommend her for small children. Oreo is spayed, has a microchip and is up to date on all shots and vaccines.
Chihuahuas of the Valley is a small Los Angeles, CA based dog rescue that is run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and the occasional stray if we have space available and find them loving forever homes.
We are a registered non profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal revenue Code
Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in adopting any of our current rescue dogs please contact us via email.
We will send you an adoption application that has to be resubmitted to us.
You will receive an email response as promptly as possible.
We also request a home check, an adoption contract and a rehoming fee.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to Chihuahuas of the Valley.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
