Hi, I'm Opu, a 5 and a half year old spayed female Pit Bull and Labrador mix who is looking for my forever home. I am a super friendly and playful girl who likes everyone I meet. My bottom will wiggle like crazy because I am such a happy girl. I love to play ball, go for walks, and hang out with all of my friends and family. I am house trained, crate trained, and love to be dressed up in sweaters and costumes. All of the dogs I have met here at the Shelter have been great! I have made new four legged friend here, but would need to meet any new potential housemates to make sure we would be happy together. My new home needs to be as happy and friendly as I am so I can live in the best home possible. Please come to the Shelter to meet me! The fee to adopt Opu is $150 *All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a free veterinary exam, one year license, two one-hour training sessions with Dog E University, and a bag of food from the Feed Corral. If you have other dogs or small children, we ask they come for the meet and greet; dogs in the home must be current on their rabies vaccination, and licensed with the shelter; and if you rent, we need landlord permission for the adoption by either phone, email, or copy of a rental agreement. You may place an animal on hold for a fee of $10.00 per day for up to 48 hours at the shelter or by phone. Phone messages will be returned in the order they are received. You may reach us at 541-265-6610 x 6 or for more information.

Meet Our Animals
To meet an animal at our Shelter, please visit us during regular business hours or make an appointment. One of our friendly Animal Care Specialists will work with you to find a good match for your family. Please bring all members of your family (including dogs if you are adopting another dog; dogs must also be licensed). If you rent, we will need landlord permission for the adoption.

How Do the Animals Come to Us?
Animals come to us lost as strays, surrendered by owners, or in protective custody due to abuse or neglect. We place all of our adoptable animals in homes or in the Second Chance Program (transporting to a rescue organization or another shelter), and we never euthanize animals for space. We provide extensive medical treatment, thanks to our Medical Fund, and all possible behavior modification training to give every animal their chance at a new life.

Keep Visiting Us!
If you don't find your perfect match with us right away, our Animal Care Specialists are willing to provide you with additional resources. Our best advice is to keep visiting us, or checking our website of available pets, as your special someone is sure to walk through our doors soon.
