And now, a few words from me:

Hi, I’m Diamond. My foster parents call me DD, but you can call me your new best friend! I am looking for my very first forever home where I can have unlimited belly & head scrubs (I just found out I LOVE them). I would also like to have another nice dog in the home. It would be so nice to have a furry sidekick to play and explore this brand new world (to me!) with.

And now, a few words from my foster parents:

DD is one of the sweetest ladies that we have fostered! Before coming to our home, she had never stepped foot into a house, and had only had a name for a few days. She learned quickly that humans are for love & that human touch is everything she had ever dreamed of. DD does not appear to have a preference for men or women. She learned to trust both my husband and I quickly, especially for a dog that very recently left her mass-breeding life behind her. Like a diamond, she is resilient and has a sparkly heart!

DD has recently had a dental which left her with only 2 teeth. This does not slow her down, she is a happy little eater! She recently made friends with the cats at the vet, her approach was curious & polite. Recently, she discovered that she likes to be picked up and placed on the couch beside us. As time passes, she is trying out the dog beds & it’s great to see her finally choosing them since she hasn’t had a bed before. It is so heart-warming to watch her realize that the world is now her oyster!

Our home does not have stairs. If your home does have stairs, you would need to teach her how to use them safely. We are working with DD on leash training & house training & we have made progress. Before coming to our home, she never had experience with either. Her adopter(s) would need to provide her with loving & positive reinforcement to continue her training.

DD has a perfect temperament & just needs some help learning the ropes of a home environment. You will fall in absolute love with her heart, we promise. If you sound like a good pair, send in your application!

Our Adoption Process...

In order to adopt from us, you need to complete an adoption application. Follow this link

Once the application is completed, it will be reviewed for suitability, and if yes, we will book a telephone interview with you, and check the veterinary and personal references that you provided. If that goes well, a home visit will be booked, and if your home is safe, the adoption can proceed. You will be required to execute and adoption contract and pay a set adoption fee
