Crate trained/house trained.
Chico is a sweet, youthful ball of energy and needs someone patient, playful and willing to put in a few times of positive training. Not sure if he's just wound up but he is sooo lovable that he more than makes up for it. Could be a great walking or running partner.
His tail just goes and goes when he has your attention. He will cuddle you and kiss you all day long. His favorite spot is under a blanket on you. Foster mom is still getting to know Chico and we aren't sure how he is with kids yet but he's very gentle and he likes other dogs and ignores cats.
We're not sure what mix he is along with Chihuahua but he's a tall and thin boy. Whatever breed it is it is very tolerant and chill.
As he sometimes likes to bark at you from the crate as you leave him he might not be good for an apartment dog. Since the beginning we have been working on 'quiet' and he seems to be getting it. He knows sit and 'in' for going into his crate. So he learns well. He hasn't had any accidents but he is watched or crated.
He will be fully vetted after Nov 2nd and ready to go to a wonderful home!
