Rusty's Story...
Rusty is in the wrong home! That is all there is to it!! This is a smart, sweet, HIGH ENERGY dog! He would love a forever home with an active family or another dog to play with. He would be great for running, hiking, horseback riding(once he learns what a horse is) and other outdoor fun! Maybe agility, frisbee or rally, too!! His current owners are not young...and he needs more! A fenced yard might not be good enough, since he loves to dig! Do you have space? Do you go out where there is space on a regular basis? If you have what Rusty needs, please contact me for a meeting. Rusty is located in Eastern Washington.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Chewelah German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Chewelah, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Chewelah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chewelah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chewelah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chewelah paves the way for another one to be saved.
