Kona is a beautiful Border Collie mix girl that was born around March 16, 2016 and as of October 1, she weighs 28 pounds. This pretty girl was given to some people by a homeless man when she was 5 weeks old. She has been around children since that time and she is wonderful with them and with other dogs as well. She is of course a Border Collie puppy complete with all the intelligence and playfulness that one brings at such a young age. She is a happy puppy that is looking for a family or person who embraces her on every level of her active lifestyle and her desire to be taught the good things about dog behavior. This girl has the prettiest white heart on the front of her chest. She is still in the happy, ”I want to jump on you when I first see you” stage of life; so truly young children might get knocked over a few times when in her presence. She is affectionate and wants your undivided attention and will give you back more than that ten-fold if you make her your own. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or firstname.lastname@example.org
