Popcorn is just adorable. She is a special needs little girl who is diabetic with cataracts (she takes insulin twice per day, and our ophthalmologist does not recommend anything for her eyes at this time). She is a very happy little girl!! She is approx 5 years old and 22 lbs. She is a bichon poodle/maltese mix and she was so matted had to be shaved down at the vets. She is a really sweet dog, she gets along with all of the other dogs, does well on a leash, seems to be quite well house trained, loves to follow you wherever you go, she does like company and so would do better with another dog or someone who is home a lot and not leave her alone all day long. Her limited vision does not bother her one bit!! We think a home with children over 12 would be best.

The total adoption donation of $350 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/

About Lexi's Angels

About Our Rescue Group...

Lexi's Angels relies on our dedicated volunteers. We participate in many fund raising events in order to raise money for our rescue partners.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
