Hans's Info...

Hans's Story...
Hans is a big handsome silky black short hair. Hans is staying in Mill Valley as a foster cat, while I search for his forever home. He’s 8.5 yrs old, indoor cat in good health and up to date with vaccines. Someone clearly loved him during his formative years- he is trusting, social, affectionate, and loves to sit next to you or on your lap. He uses his cardboard cat scratcher (never furniture), his toileting skills are flawless, he’s quiet at night, a fast learner of schedules/rules, and he’s great company. He’s been a pleasure to host, a good companion, and I hope to find him a forever place with someone who enjoys his company.

Please call or email if you are interested in meeting him. I can bring him over for an interview. He comes with a travel crate, beds, box/supply of litter, cat food (wet and dry), feed & water towers, toys, brush, scratchers and his medical record.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hans, a Tiburon American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tiburon, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tiburon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tiburon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tiburon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tiburon paves the way for another one to be saved.
