Jack's Story...
Jack and Jill are a bonded pair of adorable loving puppies. They have been through a lot together and they help reassure each other that everything is going to be fine. They like to cuddle in bed together and do everything together. When found they had fur so matted it showed a life of neglect. They are now in a loving foster home and they know what a warm bed and love is. They are a bit shy but are happy to be held and loved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Houston Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
