Krissy is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born 2014 or 15. She gave birth to four kittens in an abandoned couch in early June 2016 and from there, made her way to a Cats Cradle foster home. Her smallest kitten, Indigo, was born deaf and with mild brain abnormalities. Other mom cats might have abandoned the "imperfect" kitten, but Krissy never, ever gave up on her. (Indigo thrived and was the first kitten of her litter to be adopted). Krissy has been around other cats and a calm, cat-savvy pre-teen girl, so we know she is okay with gentle children.
Krissy has settled into life in Room 2, but we suspect she would really like to be in a comfy permanent home with fewer roommates. She's not very social with the other cats and gets a little shy during busy open houses, but she's very affectionate with staff when it's quiet.
Krissy was the mom who went to bat for her kids and we want to find her a family that will go to bat for her!
