A volunteer writes: Google the name Maggie and you''ll come up with a couple of different meanings: `Pearl` and `child of light`. I love both of those for this little black and white morsel of deliciousness. Fun, friendly, and sweet, with the best smile and ever wagging tail, Miss Maggie is so happy to be outside to potty which she does endlessly. Whew...holding it for a while. We''re off to the park, Maggie pulling just slightly in her joy at a nice walk, and once in the park she poses for photos like a pro, ignoring all the squirrels who come to investigate. Wagging her tail at a yappy small dog who was pulling towards her, Maggie is indeed full of light as she alertly checks out the park, enjoys some treats, and cutely gets tangled up in her leash when I have her tethered. Maggie has been well taken care of before being found wandering alone in the street and brought into our care by the police. Her coat gleams, her weight is perfect for her size and she loves meeting new people. All wiggly fun and soft delight, our ''pearl'', our ''child of light'' is hoping to begin her happily ever after with a new person or family. Please come meet her today.
