Leslie's Story...
2 year old
cat ok
Leslie is ready for her new home. She arrive in Ohio on 10-15-16. She loves to be on the furniture with you, but is also content on the floor or in her dog bed. She loves her toys. She is currently the only dog in the foster home and doing very well. She loves to play with the cats and the other dog (when he was there). She loves her toys. Leslie will not take treats out of your hand yet. But has no problem eating them if you drop them. She is not a huge eater. She doesn't gobble up her food right away. She is very affectionate. Would much rather have love, hugs, kisses rub downs then a treat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leslie, a Aurora Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
