Oswald is a male kitten, born late May 2016. He and his siblings were rescued from a trailer park in August. They had no reason to trust humans before the arrived at the shelter when they were 10 weeks old. Oswald's two brothers never did learn to trust, so when they were old enough, they were apprenticed to some experienced working cats on a farm where they are happy.
Oswald, however, has been trying as hard as he can to be a city-boy. He wants to live in a nice house and be spoiled by loving parents. He still has moments of shyness, especially when the shelter is noisy or crowded, but he is making great strides. We think he will really turn a corner if he gets adopted with another kitten or a friendly older cat who can help him feel confident!
Oswald probably isn't the best choice for a noisy or busy household but in a quiet, calm home he could really blossom.
