Carly's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Carly's Story...
Carly is 5 and 1/2 and retired from a very long racing career, over 200 races. She appears to do fine with small dogs and cats.

You are not going to believe what happened to me! Someone put DeeDee and I in a car and told us we were going to the vet. I heard that Josh's boy parts went missing while he was sleeping at the vet office, and I super scared. I need all of my parts!

When we arrived, the transporter was focused on DeeDee because she's a known trouble maker. SHE even had to wear a harness. I used the opportunity to bolt.

I jumped out of the car and hit the ground at full speed. I yanked the leash right out of her hand and ran for it. Soon I was on Tanque Verde, a really big, busy road. I kept running and the cars were driving right along with me. I was SO SCARED!

Then a nice man jumped out of his car, stopped traffic and ran over to get me. He held onto me, pet me and calmed me until someone from SA GREYS arrived. Everyone says I owe him my life.

I got to move to foster right away because I like kitties and small dogs. I'm a little traumatized, so I prefer hanging out in my crate, even though the door is open. Once I've had some time to adjust, I'll be fine.

If you ever see a scared doggie, please help him or her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carly, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
