Roonie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roonie's Story...
Roonie is a 5 year fawn brindle cutie. She came from the Kansas farm. She is not small dog or cat tolerant.

Hello, everyone! I'm Roonie. I've found my second career - singer/song writer. I've attached my demo for your consideration.

In addition to being a talented singer, I'm a happy, playful girl. My favorite thing is people. I try to stay close to my foster people at all times. I follow them room-to-room, and enjoy being pet. I'm currently living as an only dog, and that's okay with me as long as I have my people.

If you'd like to live with a friendly, striped girl dog who would enjoy listening to music, hanging out with you, and going for walks or other adventures, I'm your girl.
My Foster Parents Say I'm Delightful.

Roonie

P.S. Other doggies: Feel free to submit your demo if you want to be a Roolet / back up singer.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Roonie has settled in quickly. She is friendly, outgoing and smart. She is a velcro hound, who likes to be near us at all times. We have left her alone for short periods of time (a couple hours) and she hasn't shown any separation anxiety. She will be fine as an only dog if her people are home most of the time.

Roonie lets us know when she needs to go outside and learns very quickly with gentle correction. Roonie walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She's easy to care for and a great companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roonie, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
